done to the rabbit. As soon as I have hold of the caught rabbit I give the command dead and the dog will let go of it's grip and move away back to the warren where the ferrets are working. You have to make it fun for the pup I always make a big fuss of the dog when it's done something right. Let the dog know it's done good.
